The training was conducted for SARD-REACH India’s teachers keeping in mind their need to develop clarity on pedagogical aspects and educational terminology. This was an extensive training workshop designed by keeping in mind the educational needs of all the concerned educational staff. It has covered various aspects pertaining to education such as curriculum, pedagogy, TLM, enriching the class room teaching, participatory methodology, maintenance and importance of various records (Registers, teachers diary etc.), importance and practicing child centered education, community mobilization, development of teaching tools, etc. During the workshop it was ensured that each participant should raise their voices and come with their own ideas and conclusions. Although monthly two days trainings are regularly held in the Cluster Resource Centre (CRC). But the need of a long residential training workshop has been felt for some time. In the area of education, recurrent training is essential for keeping the teachers updated   regarding the latest innovations in teaching methodology. It also provided an opportunity and platform to explore the skills, strengths and flaws of the teachers and the staff.
