Society for All Round Development (SARD) organized a training on self-defense in collaboration with Crime Against Women Cell Delhi Police, which is supported by Reach India through USAID and Coca Cola at Rajapuri, South West District of Delhi.
The objective of this training was not only to build the confidence but also equip the adolescent girls and women to handle eve teasing cases. The participants demonstrated different exercises and techniques at the valedictory function. The chief guest Mr. K. C. Diwedi, DCP (Crime Against Women Cell) was very pleased with the performance of the participants and assured to extend his full support and cooperation to organize such trainings in future also. Ms. Nandini Prasad, Deputy Chief of the party, Reach India through USAID also expressed her pleasure on the organization of such training. She requested Delhi Police to organize such trainings with the other partners of REACH India also. Mr. A. Pandey from Coca Cola was very impressed with the performance of girls and assured to extend full cooperation for such activities in the future.
