| Objectives: |
To increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and other STDs among the residents (especially high-risk residents such as sex workers) |

| Strategies: |
Build a cadre of volunteers who will work as peer educators to counsel sex workers in the envisaged villages mentioned above under the head coverage |

Provide one-on-one counseling on safe sexual practices and STI/RTI prevention to sex workers and married couples, unmarried men & men living apart from their families in villages neighbouring those where sex workers are most active |

Build strong trained task forces in each village made up of peer educators, adolescent leaders, self-help group members, Bedia community leaders, CBOs, senior secondary school teachers, Sakhis, and SARD representative who will mobilize their respective constituencies to achieve program objectives |
